Peguam Perancis mula siasat skandal perjanjian Scorpene

Komisyen Perimekar membabitkan RM500 juta

Namun Perancis memfailkan dakwaan bahawa tiada bukti urusan perkhidmatan sokongan mahupun nasihat.

Missing jet engines: Top army brass sue for wrongful dismissal

KUALA LUMPUR: A former Malaysian general and four other senior officers have sued the armed forces for wrongful dismissal over the theft of two missing fighter jet engines, their lawyer said today.

In January, a Malaysian air force sergeant and a businessman were charged over the theft of the engines worth US$29 million (US93 million), but the attorney-general said no senior military officers were involved.

However, Brig-Genl Abdul Hadi Abdul Khatab and four other senior officers -- Mej Rusli Ibrahim, Mej Noor Zeelan Draman, Lt Col Mohamed Ariff Mohd Daud and Col Mohamad Sani Sumarnak -- have complained they were forced to retire over the issue, lawyer Zalil Mohammad Mess said.

"The council had asked them to explain allegations of misconduct and negligence over the theft in 2007, which they did and they denied the allegations but were later forced to retire," Zalil said.

He said the five were seeking up to RM5 million in damages as they felt the affair implied that they had cheated the government and caused it to suffer losses due to negligence.

Government lawyers have applied to quash the suit which will be heard on May 21, he said.

The Malaysian government faced a storm of criticism and allegations of official corruption after two Northrop F-5E jet engines were reportedly taken from a military air base in 2007 and sold on the black market to a South American company.

The two engines were traced to Uruguay in February and authorities say they are in the midst of securing their return.

A number of countries subject to US arms embargoes, including Iran, Sudan and Venezuela, have F-5 fighters that use the antiquated engines. The jet first flew in 1963 and Northrop ended production in 1989.

Menurut The Star Online, mereka yang lain termasuk timbalan presiden MIC Datuk G Palanivel, pengerusi eksekutif firma Rahim and Co, Datuk Abdul Rahim Abdul Rahman dan ketua Wanita Umno Pagoh, Noriah Mahat.

BMF Scandal Part 1

Starting today, I will be opening up the BMF scandal, it has been 28 years and still unsolved. The hands behind the scene is still free!

The children of the late Allahyarham Jalil Ibrahim are now in their late 20s and early 30s wondering 'is there still justice in Msia?'

Article below is extracted from NST dated 27 Nov 2005.

***********************************************

CATCHING UP WITH...: Gone, but never forgotten
Sarban Singh

It has been 22 years since the BMF scandal paralysed Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad. The bigger story was the murder of BMF assistant general manager Jalil Ibrahim, who was sent to Hong Kong to investigate alleged irregularities at the bank’s subsidiary. SARBAN SINGH revisits the case and talks to Jalil’s widow, Rosnawi Ibrahim, on life after his death.

JALIL Ibrahim would have been a grandfather if he were alive today.

Not many remember the bespectacled former student of the Royal Military College who was killed in Hong Kong in July 1983 while investigating a case involving the fraudulent award of RM2.5 billion (then) in loans by Bumiputra Finance Berhad to the Carrian Group helmed by Malaysian businessman George Tan.

He was killed by another Malaysian, Mak Foon Than, who was eventually sentenced to death by the Hong Kong High Court.

The case received wide coverage as the names of several Malaysian politicians were dragged in. The Carrian group’s spectacular collapse the same year was also to become Hong Kong’s largest bankruptcy.

BMF was the subsidiary of BBMB, which was then Asean’s largest bank.

Jalil’s wife, Rosnawi Ibrahim, says her Malacca- born husband had always liked working with figures and that was why maths and accounting were his favourite subjects in school.

A bright student, he went on to pursue a degree in accountancy at New Zealand’s Christchurch University.

Upon his return in 1971, he was offered a position to teach at Sekolah Datuk Abdul Razak, one of the premier schools in Seremban.

That was where he met Rosnawi, a teacher at the school. They married in August 1974.

The following year, Jalil applied to join Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad and was made an officer at its internal audit department.

Rosnawi, who had just completed her degree from Universiti Malaya, was transferred to another premier institution, the Tunku Kurshiah College.

A hardworking and honest officer, Jalil was promoted quickly. In 1980, he went to Switzerland’s Imede University to do his Master’s in business administration.

Rosnawi said upon his return, the management didn’t know where to put him. "They moved him from one department to another but Jalil knew his calling was doing audit work."

In early 1983, the BBMB management discovered irregularities in the award of loans amounting to RM700 million by BMF to three property developers — the Carrian Group of companies, Eda Investment and an individual, Kevin Hsu.

Jalil was sent to Hong Kong to conduct an audit. Within a month, he submitted a report, and among the questions raised was the identity of the Malaysian who owned 25 million shares in the ailing Carrian Group and whether the loans were given out simply because the borrowers were well connected.

He then wrote to a Malaysian politician asking him to confirm whether he owned the shares.

As Jalil unearthed more irregularities, he was required to travel more often to Hong Kong.

In early July 1983, Jalil returned home to celebrate Hari Raya with Rosnawi and their children in Seremban and his mother Bebe Ahmad in Malacca.

It was to be his last visit back alive. After spending 10 days in Malaysia, he left for Hong Kong again.

But before departing, he handed over a confidential report to his superiors on the wrongdoings at BMF.

Jalil, who was the head of the internal audit department by then, was back at his desk at BMF Hong Kong the next morning when he received a call on his direct line.

He left just before noon and, according to police investigations, he went to the Regent Hotel to meet a Malaysian businessman.

He reportedly told his staff that he was going to meet a "Datuk". The next day, police found Jalil’s body at a banana grove at Taipo Kau village in the rural New Territories.

However, it was only 48 hours later that Rosnawi was informed of the murder.

At the time of his murder, the eldest child, Ruzail Fitri, was only eight, the second, Razman, was in kindergarten, Ros Anita, the couple’s only daughter, was three and the youngest, Ahmad Razlan, six months.

"He used to write to us every week. He sounded very tense and would tell us how selfish some people in the finance company were," says Rosnawi, who retired in December 2000.

The autopsy report and police investigations later revealed that Jalil was strangled with a white bathrobe belt. His body was stuffed into a large suitcase, which a porter at the hotel was told to cart through the Regent lobby and load into a taxi trunk.

Suddenly, Rosnawi’s world was shattered. She had four young children and the future seemed bleak.

"But I was lucky because I had nine siblings who used to come around every time.

"My in-laws and colleagues also provided me with plenty of emotional support."

Rosnawi, playing the role of both father and mother, made sure her children received proper education and grooming. The children repaid her sacrifices by graduating from university.

Ruzail went to Universiti Utara Malaysia, Razman to Cornell University, Ros Anita completed her Master in Engineering at Imperial College in Britain, and Ahmad Roslan has just graduated from Universiti Teknologi Petronas as a systems engineer.

Ruzail has a two-month- old daughter.

According to Rosnawi, Jalil, who used to commute daily from their home in Seremban to work in Kuala Lumpur was a doting father.

"Although he would go to work before dawn and return only at dusk, he would still pat the children to sleep.

"And as far as the children were concerned, it was only the father who could do that."

She fondly remembers that her husband had a penchant for Fiat models.

Rosnawi never liked her husband’s job because as an auditor, he was required to do a fair bit of travelling. But she never stopped him because that was what he wanted to do.

"We sort of got used to him being away from home for long periods. But it eventually sank in that he would never return home."

Yes, she did have her share of problems bringing up the children as a single parent.

"Like any other children, mine too would rebel at times. But it was never a major problem."

The BBMB management, she added, was also kind enough to subsidise her children’s education through university.

Although she is grateful to God for her children’s success, Rosnawi had hoped that her daughter would take up medicine.

"But when she told me that she wanted to be an engineer I gave in to her wishes."

Jalil’s colleagues described him as a dedicated and honest employee.

"He was a workaholic. When I visited him once in Hong Kong, he was so busy that he could hardly find time to show me around," says Rosnawi.

"It was the wife of his colleague (another BMF assistant general manager) who took me around."

She says Jalil, being a Malacca-born, loved asam pedas and kicap-based dishes, was an avid sportsman, with football, hockey and badminton his favourites.

Asked if she was prepared to forgive her husband’s killer(s), Rosnawi, after a brief silence, says, as a Muslim she would be compelled to do so.

"But whatever I do, he would never come back alive. My religion teaches us to accept and forgive."

She added that the question remains whether the convicted murderer acted alone or was part of a bigger conspiracy.

Jalil was missed most whenever her children graduated from university and when the couple’s eldest son got married.

Rosnawi says Jalil was a disciplinarian probably because of the training he received at RMC.

"But he was not really strict with his children because they never gave him much trouble.

"But in school, he was feared. He was known to use military-style discipline when teaching."

Rosnawi lives in the same house the couple bought after they got married.

Asked why none of her children followed their father’s footsteps, Rosnawi said Ruzail was interested but never applied to join the banking sector.

"Maybe it was because at the time he graduated, the country was facing an economic crisis."

What does she do now that she is retired?

"Well, I attend religious classes and, whenever possible, lend my support to associations whose cause I believe in."

*************************************************

The above piece is being carried by a few pro-Umno Blogs. They are asking why do people still support Anwar Ibrahim when many of his comrades have already deserted him.

There are many things wrong with this argument. Furthermore, you need to personally know the various personalities before you can get a better understanding of why they left the opposition for the ‘greener pastures’ of Barisan Nasional.

Many of these 38 people were successful Bumiputera contractors and businessmen prior to 1998. They drove around in Mercedes Benzes and BMWs, sometimes chauffer-driven as well. When they joined the opposition their businesses crumbled and many ended up taking a bus.

One such person who fits this description is Johari Abdul of Kedah. He used to take a bus every time he had to come down to Kuala Lumpur because he lost his business and Mercedes Benz when he joined the opposition. And the same happened to Saifuddin Nasution who also used to travel from Kelantan to Kuala Lumpur by bus.

However, in spite of this suffering and downgrading of status, Johari and Saifuddin did not go back to Umno. They stayed with the opposition, until today. But how many could face the humiliation of ‘jatuh status’, like Johari and Saifuddin? The rest could not take it and left to join Umno. And now they are ‘big men’ again.
Datin Saidatul Badru Tun Said Keruak (38) left the opposition to protect her brother, Salleh Said Keruak. Salleh used to be the Chief Minister of Sabah but fell out of favour because of his sister’s involvement with the opposition. Now that his sister, Saidatul Badru, has left the opposition, Salleh is back in favour.

Saidatul Badru actually cried when she left the opposition and it took her more than a year to make that crucial decision to leave. But then blood is thicker than water and as they say, “You aint heavy, you’re my brother.” And for the sake of her brother’s political career she left the opposition.

Nell Onn (10) used to be the Wanita Chief of PKR. She is Hishammuddin Hussein’s aunt. Hishammuddin was the then Umno Youth Chief and because of his aunt his political career was in jeopardy. Nell loved her nephew, Hishammuddin. So, for his sake, she left the opposition. And, like Saidatul Badru, Nell Onn just retired from politics. They did not join Umno and whack Anwar or the opposition.

Ruslan Kassim (9) was PKR’s information chief. He had two wives to support and an office to maintain. By 2003 he was on the verge of bankruptcy and could no longer pay his debts. He even owed me more than RM60,000 on the merchandise that he took from me (VCDs on Anwar, T-shirts, badges, etc.). He also took 1,000 copies of my first book and did not pay.

Ruslan was so broke and badly in debt that he had no choice but to leave PKR and join Umno. After he joined Umno he was tasked with the job of persuading those PKR Youth leaders who were also in debt to leave PKR and join Umno for an agreed sum of money. Many of the names in that list of 38 names are PKR Youth leaders who were paid a lot of money to leave PKR and join Umno.

During their PKR days all these people were broke to their bones. Today, they are living it up again, like in the pre-1998 days. You can identify them in the list above where it shows ‘Pemuda’ or ‘Ketua Pemuda’ against their names.

I remember, back in 1999 just before the November general elections, these personalities would be talking about which Ministry they would like to head. It was quite amusing to see them sit around the table and divide the various Ministries amongst themselves.

One chap who was also there later told me that the PKR Youth chaps still had Umno mentality. Even before the general elections can he held they are already talking about which Ministry they would like to head.

They of course all contested the November 1999 general election but none of them won. Even the Youth Head, Ezam Mohd Nor (3), did not win. Invariably, none of them became Ministers or Deputy Ministers.
The list of 38 names that the Umno Blogs are publishing is not at all disheartening to me. These are not people who abandoned Anwar. They never were with Anwar in the first place. They thought that Anwar was going to form the new government in 1999 and that they would all have a place in the new government. When it did not happen they left and rejoined Umno, where they came from in the first place.

On those others who left recently, after the 2008 general election, we all know the stories behind this and I really need not talk about them. Maybe those who left prior to 2004 or just after the March 2004 general election disaster is news to you, as that was before Malaysia Today was launched in August 2004.

So what the pro-Umno Blogs are saying is not entirely true. They left not because they had no confidence in Anwar. It was for other personal reasons. Maybe Saidatul and Nell had sincere reasons for leaving and I really don’t blame them. After all, they have their family to consider. But this is not the same reason why the others left.

If they were Anwaristas in the true sense of the word then we can question what the hell is wrong with Anwar. If one person leaves then it could be that there is something wrong with that person. But when 38 people leave then it must be something wrong with Anwar.

But that is not the case here. These people were all ‘big men’ back in their Umno days prior to 1998. They thought they could be ‘big men’ again when Anwar forms the government in 1999. When that did not happen then there was no longer any reason for them to stay in the opposition.

It is as simple as that.

Pua: Harga kereta perisai melebihi harga pasaran

Ahli parlimen Petaling Jaya Utara, Tony Pua mendakwa kerajaan bercadang membeli 257 kereta perisai 8X8 (APC) jauh melebihi harga pasaran.

Saya terpaksa menghadiri mesyuarat sekarang. Selamat tinggal.”

Campurtangan politik: Penerbit ntv7 letak jawatan

“Akhirnya, semua perbincangan politik diarah dihentikan.

1Malaysia-Apco-One Israel: Usul heret Anwar diluluskan

1. Pandikar Amin Mulia (Speaker)
2. Ronald Kiandee (Umno-Beluran)
3. Fong Chan Onn (MCA-Alor Gajah)
4. Razali Ibrahim (Umno-Muar)
5. Nancy Shukri (PBB-Batang Sadong)
6. Sivarasa Rasiah (PKR-Subang)
7. Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor)

Sambil memegang sebuah fail, Khairy mendakwa dia mempunyai bukti bahawa Anwar mempunyai perhubungan terus dengan Paul Wolfowitz, seorang penyokong kuat Zionist.

12.16pm: Khairy Jamaluddin (Umno-Rembau) memulakan debatnya dengan mendakwa Anwar menimbulkan kontroversi berhubung Apco Worldwide kerana beliau kuathir kerajaan pusat yang diterajui BN kini mendapat sokongan 68 peratus rakyat.
Katanya, kegusaran Anwar itu diburukkan lagi dengan masalah yang dihadapi oleh Pakatan Rakyat, termasuk beberapa pemimpinnya yang berpaling tadah sehingga menyebabkan ketua umum PKR itu kehilangan majoritinya di kalangan pembangkang including a string of defections from PKR which has caused him to los.
“Walaupun Pakatan tidur sebantal tetapi mimpinya lain-lain," sindir Khairy.

11.44am: Abdul Rahman kemudiannya menarik balik kenyataannya atas arahan Wan Junaidi.

MP pembangkang terus menuntut beliau “tarik balik".

11.37am: Timbalan Speaker Wan Junaidi Tuanku Abdul Rahman mengambil-alih kerusi speaker.

11.30am:
Pendebat kedua BN Abdul Rahman Dahlan (Umno-Kota Belud) bangun untuk berucap. Beberapa MP pembangkang menyindirnya sambil menjerit “putar belit”.

Speaker Pandikar menyampuk, "Saya pun minum, YB, tapi air sahaja."

11.13am:

"Jika kita benarkan Padang Serai (PKR MP N Gobalakrishnan), lima hari pun tak cukup," katanya berseloroh.
MPpembangkang terus menimbulkan isu teknikal berhubung usul tetapi Pandikar bertegas mengatakan ia teratur.
Sementara itu, Lim Kit Siang (DAP-Ipoh Timur) akan menggantikan Anthony Loke (DAP-Rasah) sebagai seorang daripada pendebat Pakatan.
10.28am: Gobind (DAP-Puchong), yang agak emosional bertegas mahu mendebatkan peraturan dewan. Speaker Pandikar mengarahkannya supaya diam.
Beberapa MP yang lain cuba bercakap. Pandikar mengarahkan semua supaya duduk dan dengar arahannya.
Pandikar kemudiannya membacakan Peraturan 43.

2009 Apco menasihat Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Mohd Najib 1Malaysia”.

1. Nur Jazlan (Umno-Pulai)
2. Abdul Rahman Dahlan (Umno-Kota Belud)
3. Khairy Jamaluddin (Umno-Rembau)
4. Nazri Aziz (Umno-Padang Rengas)
Pakatan rakyat pula diwakili oleh:
1. Azmin Ali (PKR- Gombak)
2. Anthony loke (DAP-Rasah)
3. Marfuz Omar (PAS-Pokok Sena)
4. Anwar Ibrahim (PKR-Permatang Pauh)

Kuburkan BN Bhg 2 dlm 2.

Kuburkan BN Bhg 1 dlm 2.

Round 6 of 10: the police resist the order to terminate the computer contract (UPDATED with Chinese Translation)

The Legal Adviser of the Ministry of Home Affairs sent a letter to the PDRM on 3 December 2008 (after the 23 November 2008 meeting with the Minister: refer to the Minutes published in part 1 of 10) asking them to terminate the computer contract because of the infiltration of Israeli agents (quote: tentera risik Israel). According to the letter, the Ministry has recognised the fact that the PDRM has been compromised by Israeli agents. The PDRM, however, resists and refuses to comply with the instructions from the Ministry.

Round 5 of 10: The police rent 34 helicopters for 30 years from the IGP’s company (UPDATED with Chinese Translation)

The IGP’s letter of 12 February 2007 was to urge the Finance Minister to consider the proposal by Asiacopter Sdn Bhd, another company headed by Othman Talib, to rent 34 helicopters to the PDRM for a period of 30 years.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin

After writing to the Prime Minister on 3 November 2006 urging him to issue a LETTER OF EXCLUSIVE INTENT to Web Power Sdn Bhd to award the company the police computerisation project (read here), an outfit headed by Police Force Commissioner Othman Talib, the IGP then writes to the Minister of Finance on 12 February 2007.

The IGP’s letter of 12 February 2007 was to urge the Finance Minister to consider the proposal by Asiacopter Sdn Bhd, another company headed by Othman Talib, to rent 34 helicopters to the PDRM for a period of 30 years.

The IGP mentions in that letter that the rental cost is very reasonable but no figure is mentioned.

Dato' Othman Bin Talib, IC No. 500130-01-5819, is, in fact, a director of the following companies:
1. 541456-X - WEB POWER SDN. BHD.
2. 731218-P - ASIACOPTER SDN. BHD.
3. 776750-W - PAN-MALAYSIA GLOBAL TAEKWON-DO FEDERATION SDN. BHD.
4. 747967-P - PFI MARINES SDN. BHD.
5. 769785-V - WP DEVICES SDN. BHD.
6. 776973-X - PAYMENT GATEWAY SDN. BHD.
7. 780990-T - AUXILIARY SECURITY SDN. BHD.
8. 762309-H - APPROTRONIC SDN. BHD.
9. 827429-P - SPECIAL SKILL SECURITY SERVICES SDN  BHD

Every police officer knows that Othman Talib was placed in the Police Force Commission (PFC) personally by the IGP. The PFC is a very powerful ‘tool’ that decides on the promotion of police officers. And, of course, police officers that do not ‘play ball’ are not promoted but are instead sent into cold storage under the guise of ‘transfers’. The less fortunate are sent to Tatatertib to be crucified (like those who signed Statutory Declarations alleging that the IGP has links with the Chinese crime syndicate).

Now see the IGP’s letter to the Finance Minister below.

PETANG ITU - 38 TAHUN DAHULU (Kisah Zaid Ibrahim)

Inilah kali kedua saya melihat  Zaid Ibrahim.

Round 4 of 10: The Othman Talib link (UPDATED with Chinese Translation)

Othman Talib is the IGP’s plant in the Police Force Commission (PFC). And he is also the front-man for the IGP’s dirty dealings involving the police helicopter and computerisation projects that involves billions of Ringgit and which has exposed the country to a security risk and penetration by spies from a declared ‘enemy state'.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin

Bukit Aman should learn a thing or two about misinformation and disinformation campaigns. We in the opposition have been using this tactic since way back in 1998 to confuse the Malaysian government and its intelligence services, and quite successfully at that too.

Remember the BERSIH rally of November 2007? We successfully confused the police and made them believe that we were going to assemble on the Selangor Club padang and the entire police force also assembled there. The police helicopter was circling the padang and when it came low I waved at it so that they could see me. And while they surrounded the empty padang we marched to the Agong’s palace behind their backs.

My ‘escape’ was another such exercise in misinformation and disinformation. I knew that there are some moles in the opposition and that not all could be trusted. I did not know, however, who the moles are so I ‘leaked’ different stories to different people.

To one suspected mole I told him that I escaped to Thailand by boat and that the boat engine conked out three times in the high seas. That was the story that came out in the mainstream newspapers.

To another suspected mole I told him that I escaped to Thailand through Langkawi with the help of the Consul General of Thailand in Langkawi. Now, it seems, the Malaysian government has demanded that the Thai government expel this Thai Consul General.

And how do I know this? Well, my Deep Throats in Bukit Aman told me and I was also told the Thai Consul General has already been instructed to pack his bags and leave within the next 24 hours.

Actually, the poor chap does not even know me or I him. But now he is in hot soup and probably will see his career cut short. I am sorry he has become a victim of my misinformation and disinformation campaign. However, as they say, all is fair in love and war and this is war.

This just proves that there are many moles in the opposition and I have ferreted out those suspected of being government agents, with some innocent victims though, unfortunately.

Anyway, I want to bring you back to this letter from the IGP to the Prime Minister that Malaysia Today published a couple of days ago.

Now, note the part that mentions Web Power. And please also note the common name in Asiasoft and Web Power, Othman Talib.

And as follows are the documents on Web Power.

Round 3 of 10: Now let us look at Asiacopter (UPDATED with Chinese Translation)

The current PR effort to improve the IGP's image is being orchestrated by Lourdes Charles of The Star. It is not known how much the IGP is paying him to manage the damage control and image enhancing exercise. Nevertheless, it is well known in Bukit Aman that Lourdes Charles is on the IGP’s payroll.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin

This is what one of my Deep Throats in Bukit Aman told me this morning, and I quote word for word:

The IGP personally lobbied Treasury to award the PDRM integrated e-com contract to Asiasoft. When various petitions were made opposing this move, an investigation was launched which disclosed that strategic information on the police communication system had already been disclosed to the Singapore Asiasoft office, which had Israeli advisers.

This investigation report was signed of by Dato' Mahsuri, PDRM's Director of Logistcics. I am trying to get you a copy of this report so that you can publish it in Malaysia Today.

When this controversy surfaced, Dato' Mahsuri tried to shift the blame for the report to Dato' Zubaidah, the Deputy Director of Logistics. In an earlier incident, Dato' Mahsuri had also blamed Dato' Zubaidah over the uniform and boots supply contract valued at RM90 million.

Zubaidah is a trained ICT expert and is known to be relatively uncompromised.

Dato' Othman Talib is involved in the Asiasoft controversy just as he was in the Eurocopter-Asiacopter deal. Othman Talib was placed in the Police Force Commission (PFC) by IGP just as Dato' Christopher Wan is now placed in the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPF).

So there you are. The IGP has been trying to plug the leaks in Bukit Aman by transferring many police officers and putting them in cold storage. He has also sent some to be ‘tried’ by the Tatatertib in the hope that he can bring down all those officers suspected of feeding Malaysia Today ‘sensitive information’.

Well I have news for the IGP. I control the ‘third force’ in Bukit Aman, not him. And I am many steps ahead of him at all times. Try as he may in his efforts to rid Bukit Aman of elements that are working with Malaysia Today he has still not been able to track the core of our penetration.

Yes, it does feel good when you can brag that Malaysia Today has its tentacles right into the heart of Bukit Aman. But, hey, what’s the point of being steps ahead of your adversary if you can’t brag about it?

Would the government like to investigate the above allegation by my Deep Throat? Would the government like to set up an Inquiry? If so then Malaysia Today can arrange for all these witnesses to come forward so that the IGP and all those walking in the corridors of power who are in cahoots with the IGP can be hanged from the highest tree in the Lake Gardens just outside Bukit Aman.

By the way, talking about the Lake Gardens outside Bukit Aman, do you want me to add insult to injury? Okay, let’s do that. I would like the IGP to know that I used to meet my Deep Throats just outside the rear entrance of Bukit Aman at that tea stall near the car park in the Lake Gardens. That’s right. We used to meet right under their noses and they were totally unaware about it. Is that not adding insult to injury?

Meanwhile, see the documents on Asiacopter below. And note one prominent name, Othman Talib. In the next episode in this series we shall show you the links between Othman Talib and Web Power, the company mentioned in the IGP’s letter to the Prime Minister that we published yesterday.

Malaysia warns Iran after cutting off gasoline supplies

Baca artikel dia bawah yg dikeluarkn oeh reuters... soalan saya:-

a. Jika Msia menyokong sekatan ke atas Iran bukankah ia bermaksud bahawa Msia bersetuju bahawa Iran sedang membangunkan senjata nuklear?
b. Adakah wang lebih penting daripada agama?
c. Inikah Islam yg BN laung-laungkan? Masya-Allah, jangan kita bersekongkol dengan syaitan!

Prime Minister Najib Razak confirmed yesterday that Malaysia has cut off gasoline supplies to Iran, warning Tehran it was close to facing new international sanctions over its controversial nuclear program.
Najib’s announcement came three days after he held talks with US President Barack Obama, who had called for the world to move “boldly and quickly” on additional sanctions on the sidelines of a 47-nation nuclear security summit.

“It’s going to be quite inevitable that additional sanctions will be imposed in the near future unless there is some movement in the right direction by Iran,” Najib, on a US visit, told reporters in Washington.

“The onus is on Iran now to react expeditiously to prevent additional sanctions.”

The 15-member Security Council, including China, has already imposed three sets of sanctions on Iran over its refusal to halt sensitive uranium enrichment and is considering the prospect of a fourth round of UN sanctions.
The United States and its allies believe Iran is covertly working on a nuclear weapon but the Islamic republic says it is pursuing only civilian power.

Najib said the gasoline supplies suspension was decided by Petronas after consultations with his government.

He did not say when Petronas stopped supplying gasoline to Iran but some reports said it was done in the middle of March.

Petronas is among a small group of non-Chinese oil companies supplying gasoline to Iran, the world’s fifth-largest crude oil exporter.

Najib said that while Malaysia maintained that Iran had the right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, it must comply with the UN Security Council decision ordering it to suspend uranium enrichment activities until the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) can verify they are exclusively peaceful as Iran claims.

“They must earn the trust of the international community and the only way they can earn the trust is to be fully transparent in whatever they do and allow full verification by the IAEA and there are some serious doubt as to whether this has been carried out or has been complied with by Iran,” he said.

A member of the OPEC cartel, Iran has been languishing in a dearth of investment in petroleum refineries as a result of US sanctions. It has resorted to importing about 40 percent of its gasoline needs.

Asked whether Malaysia was reviewing any current projects or possible joint ventures in Iran, Najib said, “We will see how it goes, we do not want to send the wrong signals.

“We appreciate the importance of our economic relations with Iran as well.”

Ambassadors from the five veto-wielding members of the UN Security Council — Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States — plus Germany — met for a second straight day in New York Thursday in what they described as “constructive” substantive talks on the sanctions issue.
On the table was a US draft resolution outlining sanctions in five areas: arms embargo, energy, shipping, finance and targeted punitive measures against Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guards, a diplomat familiar with the discussions said.

Iran insists it needs the higher-enriched uranium to fuel a research reactor which makes radioisotopes for medical purposes, such as the treatment of cancer, where the current fuel is expected to run out by the end of this year.

But Tehran has snubbed an IAEA-brokered deal that would have seen Russia and France fashion the fuel out of Iran’s own stockpile of low-enriched uranium. Najib said Petronas would “certainly” lift its suspension on gasoline supplies if Iran complied with the IAEA.

“We believe in engagement but Iran has to respond as well and there are some clear indications of their non compliance.”

Dr M: Don’t put APCO bill on my tab

Dr Mahathir said the US had never shown displeasure at his administration. — file pic
KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 — Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today he disagrees with the Najib administration for spending a whopping RM76 million to arrange a meeting between the prime minister and US President Barack Obama earlier this week.
“Meeting is good but to say this money is spent because of what happened in the past, I don’t think is good,” the former premier said, rubbishing claims the government needed to spend the enormous sum of money.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz had disclosed this week the amount paid to global public relations firm, APCO Worldwide, and claimed it was necessary to “repair” Malaysia-US ties strained during his 22-year rule from 1981 to 2003.

“I don’t care,” Dr Mahathir said, when asked to comment on Nazri’s charge.

“Whether the ties are good or bad, the fact is the US has not done anything that would show they were offended by us,” he added, citing the absence of official US complaints lodged with his administration.
Dr Mahathir also pointed out that investments from the US continued to flow into Malaysia.

“We did not get anything from the US,” he claimed, but was quick to make an exception that the world military superpower had given “one million US dollars” (RM3.2 million at current rates) to Malaysia “for the training of our armed forces”.

“They want it back? We have one million US dollars,” he quipped.

Dr Mahathir was speaking to reporters after delivering a keynote speech here, in conjunction with the 44th anniversary celebration of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara), a government agency formed to aid the indigenous community.
He appeared disinterested in continuing the subject, noting that he was no longer in power. He noted that the Najib administration had the authority to do as it sees fit with federal funds.
“If I’m in power, I have my own way of doing things,” he said with a smile, capping the subject.

Round 2 of 10: Israelgate, Malaysia’s Watergate (UPDATED with Chinese Translation)

One thing the Minister said that was not recorded in the Minutes of the Meeting is that this Israeli link fiasco would become Malaysia’s Watergate if not properly handled. Therefore they must make sure that this matter is kept highly confidential and no one is supposed to know about it. I would call it Israelgate rather than Malaysia’s Watergate.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

IGP: No infiltration by any Israelis

No Israeli was ever involved in the upgrading of the police force’s information and communication system as alleged by Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said this was because Master Plan Consulting (MPC) Sdn Bhd, the company awarded the job to carry out the upgrading work, terminated Asiasoft Sdn Bhd’s contract.
The termination was carried out when it was revealed that Asiasoft’s Singapore partner had two former Israeli intelligence officers on their payroll.

“The Home Ministry had awarded the upgrading work to MPC in 2005. MPC then engaged a local bumiputra company called Asiasoft Sdn Bhd to carry out the work for them.

“In 2007, Asiasoft sold 30% of the shares to Asiasoft Pte Ltd Singapore. When we conducted a due diligence check on their Singaporean partner, we discovered the presence of the Israelis in the company,” he said.

MPC immediately terminated Asiasoft’s contract.

Musa said police then conducted a thorough investigation into the matter and found there was no infiltration by any Israelis.

He said they were investigating who leaked out classified police investigations (Editor's Note: this is the key issue for the PDRM) and what motivated Anwar to make such “serious and damaging” allegations in Parliament. -- The Star

*************************************************

In the first episode in this series of articles (Round 1 of 10: Hishammuddin's bullshit revealed) the Minutes of the Meeting between the Minister and the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) was revealed.

Basically, the focus of the meeting was to discuss how the leak about the Israeli connection managed to surface and for how long this leak has been going on. The meeting was more about damage control than about the security of the nation. They wanted to see what they could do to protect the image of the government and the PDRM.

One thing that must be noted here is the following:

On 27 June 2008, Malaysia Today revealed that Israeli intelligence had penetrated Bukit Aman. Malaysia Today said, Izhak David Nakar served in the Israel Air Force and developed the intelligence system for the Israeli Defense Force. Ido Schechter is a captain in the Israeli Air Force. They are both behind PDRM’s computerisation program. (Read more here: http://www.malaysia-today.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=31036:bukit-amans-israeli-connection&catid=22:the-corridors-of-power&Itemid=100085 )

On 11 September 2008, I was detained under the Internal Security Act for the ‘crime’ of slandering the Deputy Prime Minister’s wife and for insulting Islam.

On 7 November 2008, the Shah Alam High Court ruled that my detention was illegal and subsequently ordered my release.

On 23 November 2008, a meeting was held between the Minister and the Police to discuss how Malaysia Today managed to get the information about the PDRM-Israeli connection and how they could do damage control to protect the image of the government and the Royal Malaysian Police. (Read more here: http://www.malaysia-today.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=31092:round-1-hishammuddins-bullshit-revealed&catid=22:the-corridors-of-power&Itemid=100085 )

A new ISA Detention Order was then prepared but my detention was held back because the government had already filed an appeal against the Shah Alam High Court’s decision in ordering my release (the hearing which was still ongoing).

In February 2009, halfway through the appeal hearing, the government suddenly retreated after they decided it was taking too long and after three months I was still walking free. The government felt that it would be better to abandon the appeal (which they did) and instead detain me under a fresh Detention Order.

Two days before they came for me I received word from my Deep Throats in Bukit Aman that they are coming for me and that I should go underground if I do not wish to spend the rest of my life under detention without trial.

On the insistence of my Deep Throats in Bukit Aman I went underground and the police went to my home and found an empty house. This was confirmed by the security guards who said that the police came to my house and camped outside my house for several days before giving up and going home.

One thing the Minister said that was not recorded in the Minutes of the Meeting is that this Israeli link fiasco
would become Malaysia’s Watergate if not properly handled. Therefore they must make sure that this matter is kept highly confidential and no one is supposed to know about it. I would call it Israelgate rather than Malaysia’s Watergate.

The problem they faced, though, is that Malaysia Today has Deep Throats in Bukit Aman who are feeding us ‘sensitive information’. Therefore, they must neutralise Malaysia Today by sending me back to Kamunting and then korek, korek, korek from me who my Deep Throats in Bukit Aman are.

My Deep Throats in Bukit Aman were understandably very worried. They knew that if the Special Branch got me then it would be a matter of time before names begin to surface. And that would mean my Deep Throats in Bukit Aman would be at risk.

Around midnight, 36 hours before I went underground, some ‘visitors’ came to my house. There was a heated argument when I said I was adamant to stay and would go to Kamunting if it comes to that. The ‘visitors’ felt that I was being rash and that it is not about me going to Kamunting but about what will happen to the Deep Throats in Bukit Aman once the Special Branch works on me. Even hardcore Communist Terrorists eventually break, even if it takes many years, they told me. You are not as tough to withstand what they can do to you and will definitely break and put everyone at risk, they argued.

From the point of view of my Deep Throats in Bukit Aman, the issue is not about my articles on Altantuya or about my Statutory Declaration. It is not even about me allegedly insulting Islam. Those are all just smokescreens. It is about the damage I am doing to the IGP with the many revelations that Malaysia Today has made over the last few years.

Who are all these people behind the companies involved in the computerisation work for the Royal Malaysian Police? Who are the people behind Web Power? Yes, a good question indeed. And we shall provide the answers in the next episodes in these series of articles. So stay tuned.

In the meantime, read this letter from the IGP to the Prime Minister dated 3 November 2006. Clearly, the IGP was the main thrust behind this project.

Remember, in November 2006 the government already knew about the Israeli link. Only when this information became public knowledge in June 2008 did they attempt to do damage control by terminating the sub-contractor and then use front companies to cover their tracks.

Muhyiddin dicabar isytihar harta bersama Zaid

"Tetapi cadangan Pak Lah ditolak.

"Itulah politik kempen dia (Muhyiddin).
