FMT : Anwar always knew about ‘little Napoleons’ in PKR, says Ezam

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) chief Mohamad Ezam Mohd Nor said opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was well aware of the “little Napoleons” in PKR that controversial Kulim Bandar Baharu MP Zulkifli Noordin had spoken about.

He said Anwar knew about this group which had often been described as a thorn in PKR's flesh because it had its own anti-Malay and anti-Islam agenda.

"I have always known who these people are. Anwar knew it too. They are in the PKR leadership," he said when met at an Umno Youth-organised ceramah in Gombak.

He said this group was power-hungry and its leanings were clear in the early years of the party's establishment, when its cause ran parallel with that of the PKR leaders.

"I think it is now become obvious: more PKR leaders know who these people are but we have known it all along. We can see that this group is getting stronger within PKR.”

He said Anwar seemed to be "allowing and not rectifying" the situation.

"I don't know if he supports this group or if he is entrapped by them, but Anwar may not curtail their activities," he said.

He added that when the times comes, the PKR leadership will expose these individuals whom Zulkifli referred to as little Napoleons.

Anwar, meanwhile, told a press conference yesterday that although Zulkifili was a friend, the decision to sack him was collective and not personal.
