FMT : MP Azan hits out at media

SHAH ALAM: Pahang PKR deputy chairman Azan Ismail has hit out at the media for sensationalising his decision to step down. He has also denied reports that he is quitting his Indera Mahkota parliamentary seat.

 “I remain an MP. My decision to resign from the party ptost is a normal process We have three chairmans, its one too many.  I reiterate to the media that I am committed to PKR and am a loyal party member,” he reportedly said.
Azan, 44, a founding memebr of Pahang PKR, had on Jan 25 announced that he was stepping down. His decision sparked media reports of alleged internal strive in PKR.
Analysts have questioned the timing of Azan’s decision, which came at the heel of he Kuala Selangor PKR’s committee’s resigning.
